Understanding gosmore's .pak format
Hello there,
I'm currently doing some customization to gosmore for making it more usable in another project. However, I failed when I was trying to understand the pak-format. The only thing I found on the internet was this: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Gosmore/Internals
which is really not very detailed. I debugged gosmore for about a day already and just don't get the whole process (especially the merge of all those .tmp files in one .pak file). Is there some documentation I missed? Or could maybe someone who knows the format better just post some more details here/on the wiki page? (the reason why I need this is for updating the .pak files over the Internet without using too much traffic).
EDIT:
I also found this: http://www.mail-archive.com/routing@ope … 00112.html but it seems very outdated...
thanks,
b3nn0
