openLayers & Routing engine

I want to develop an application like yournavigation using the gosmore routing engine, along with OpenLayers and some server side glue code. could I run gosmore on Windows to develop the application or only available for linux?
Could someone explain about this...

Re: openLayers & Routing engine

Gosmore runs under Windows (it was initially developed as a WinCE application), but it cannot create routing databases under Windows and the CGI interface which yournavigation uses does not work under Windows either.

May I ask why you would like to recreate yournavigation? You could just get a copy from SVN and improve/add the things you're missing?
