Maybe it's just a bug.  In a related vein, landuse=forest and leisure=park seem to collide in unpredictable ways.

(Mapping forested areas as "park" like this is a local convention I disagree with, but the local mapper has ignored my attempts to bring it up...)

Hi. At zoom level 15 and below highway=footway is rendered and highway=service (at least service=driveway) is not rendered. In my opinion that should be harmonized. Sorry if there is/was already a discussion about it.

Hi. At zoom level 15 and below highway=footway is rendered and highway=service (at least service=driveway) is not rendered. In my opinion that should be harmonized. Sorry if there is/was already a discussion about it.

In OpenStreetMap (OSM), the "highway" tag is used to specify the type of road or path being mapped. The "footway" and "service" tags are two possible values that can be used with the "highway" tag to specify the type of highway. It appears that, at zoom level 15 and below, footways are rendered on the map, but service roads (such as driveways) are not rendered. You have suggested that this should be harmonized, meaning that both types of highways should be rendered at these zoom levels.
