Entrance signs - ref, addr:flats, ref:signed=no tags

Hello and sorry for writing in English. I am implementing something in StreetComplete and I want to ask is it something that should be enabled in Slovenia.

Is it typical that entrance in an apartment with multiple entrance will have:

- signed range of flats, for example addr:flats=81-94 on entrance to staircase with flats 81 to 94
and/or
- ref=VI on entrance to staircase with code VI

Example from Poland: https://www.google.pl/maps/@50.0202346, … 312!8i6656

I am asking as I am unsure whether this quest should be enabled in your area or not.

It would result in tagging ref or addr:flats or ref and addr:flats or ref:signed=no on entrances of building=apartments which have more than one tagged entrance=main or entrance=staircase

For reference, work on this is tracked in
https://github.com/streetcomplete/Stree … ssues/3064

Pull requests is at
https://github.com/streetcomplete/Stree … /pull/4066

It will be enabled in Poland, Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia.

It will be not enabled in Kosovo, Serbia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Czech Republic as such signs are not in use there.

If you have some feedback about StreetComplete - the best place to report it is https://github.com/streetcomplete/StreetComplete/issues but you can also ping me in this thread for next few days.

Re: Entrance signs - ref, addr:flats, ref:signed=no tags

Flat numbers are generally only in use in cadastre, and marked near entrance (on door frame) of each individual flat, not prominently displayed on buildings. Flat numbers are NOT used as part of address, so there's no need to help visitors navigating by them.

For buildings with several entrances it is common to give each entrance an individual house number. New house numbers are often issued with appendix a,b,c,č... (eg 17, 17a, 17b, 17c, 17č...), so address points can get more dense as needed.

Also doorbells near entrances to the building are labelled with surnames, not apartment numbers.
