MapRoulette challenges for Greece
Hello OSM Greece,
I’m Andrew Wiseman with Apple’s Maps team. We recently used our Atlas data analysis tool (https://github.com/osmlab/atlas) to look at a few types of potential issues, such as roads that are close to others but not connected (often they should be connected) and places where navigation is impossible due to missing connections or potentially incorrect one way roads. I've posted the results of those checks on MapRoulette, a tool that lets you go through potential issues one by one and either correct them or indicate they are not a problem. I wanted to let you know they are available in case others wanted to try fixing some of them — I also plan to go through some of them myself.
In MapRoulette you can either pick a random task to fix or click on a specific one. If you want to do tasks around a certain location, such as somewhere you are familiar with, you can click "Edit layout," "More options" then "load tasks by proximity."
The checks are:
Greece Connectivity Check: https://maproulette.org/challenge/4068
Greece Impossible Routing: https://maproulette.org/challenge/4067
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
Andrew

Those links above respond "502 Bad Gateway" (at least for me, with Linux OS)

Re: MapRoulette challenges for Greece
It might have been a temporary issue, it's working for me currently. Is still giving you the same issue?

Re: MapRoulette challenges for Greece
Hello all, I created a new batch of challenges here. They are some of the familiar ones around road network, and we also created a couple about pedestrian routing and road name consistency -- when there are two similar names next to each other, which might suggest one is spelled wrong. Here's the project with multiple challenges: https://maproulette.org/browse/projects/38853
Thanks!

Re: MapRoulette challenges for Greece
Connectivity is something I may work on next, but I have no schedule towards completion yet.
