I have a vision. My vision is to create a spatially explicit database of carbon emission reductions that would be decentralized and democratic.
The database would contain information regarding carbon projects that have reduced or avoided greenhouse gases, such as project that have been certified and issues carbon credits, for example.
This database would show the location on a map, project type and scope, TCO2e for the baseline activities, TCO2e for the change activities, etc.
There would be a form for contributors to the database to collect information. This information would be part of the database and an indicator would show up on the map. I suppose this would be a new layer?
Is OpenStreetMap the right platform to create such a projet? If so, I will need assistance.
