What is a 'Friend' ?
I received a message from the OSM world suggesting I add a name to "....my list of friends...". I haven't a clue what this means. What is a 'friend' in the OSM world ? I googled all over the site for a definition without success.
I just want to make sure I know the implications before going ahead and clicking on "Yes".

Re: What is a 'Friend' ?
It doesn't do much, you get the "friend" in the friendslist on your user page www.openstreetmap.org/user/pacman and a shortcut to send messages to them.
