Time duration for approving the edit results
Hi I'm very newbie here and I have a question to ask.
I have just edited some wrong input of names of roads. How long does it need to be applied exactly on the map? Thank you.

Re: Time duration for approving the edit results
There is no approval, edits are applied immediately to the data.
Generated map update depending on data consumer.
See https://help.openstreetmap.org/question … on-the-map
See also https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Browser_cache
Browser cache is a local copy of what someone has requested before, maintained by browser itself.
In context of OpenStreetMap it is typically mentioned when someone asks "I made edit, it is no shown on map. Why?".
Typical reason is that browser shows cached, now outdated version.
The solution is to force clearing the cache.
In Firefox on PC open site and press ctrl and F5 keys to request new page version.
