Streets named Street & similar

A year or so back, I read an article (may have been from a SotM conference?) about systems saying that street addresses MUST be wrong because it’s shown as Street Street, Lane Lane & similar things Person giving talk had figures for how many of these “wrong” addresses there were.

Does anybody remember seeing what I’m talking about?

I know that I saw a lot of roads named Jalan (Indonesian for road / street) some years ago
