I want to learn how to build this map graphic. Can someone help?

Hello,

I recently saw this graphic and would like to make something similar of my own with street address data that I have in a spreadsheet.

Can someone point me in the right direction to learn how to do this?

So you have a list with addresses from the whole country, and you want to display in what state you have how many addresses?

This is more a geographical aim rather then special OSM.

I do a list of addresses throughout the country and I would like to display how many addresses from each state.
