Who publishes maps with OSM information?
Do map providers like Google use information from OSM? Do navigators in cars use this information? I know I can update some maps that I generate on CalTopo.

Hi and welcome to OSM and the Forum
I'm not sure for Google (I assume not) but there are many map provider using OSM-Data. Also navigation applications and games. Don't know about navigation systems in cars. See our Wiki (e.g. https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Lis … _services) for more information.
