Last year I downloaded a OSM map called “gmapprom.img” and I placed it in /.System and it worked perfectly. I now wanted to update the map and I downloaded the latest OSM map today and it’s called “gmapsupp.img”. I then deleted the old map and placed the new one in/.System. Now my Garmin GPS doesn’t detect the new map. The location I downloaded is South Africa.
Try dropping it into /map folder
