The SciGRID_gas project is a datamining project to create a dataset of the european gas transport network.
One of our goals is to improve the data quality of gas network transport data in OSM.
You will find a lot of maps and open source data in the archive and download section of our website, which might be useful to OSM modelleres.
Further we have created esy-osmfilter, a fast python filtering tool for OSM-pbf files, which you can install with pip.
Within the documentation you can find a describtion of the filter keywords for gas transport pipelines.
