Kaart editing team problem

Yes, they had provided many of the bwst and amazing imagery around Malaysia, and I would hope they can do it again after the pandemic. But before that, please noted that some of their member had ruined part of our OSM street data. I had noticed big change around my residential area, Alma Bukit Mertajam (https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/82171471#map=14/5.3320/100.4931) with roads that had misalign by one of the Kaart team member. Yes that user said that there is no offset DB data so taht user just follow it, but I had update the DB data early this month but still no respone. MAXAR imagery are mostly unalign and you cannot hope someone to tell everyone about this fact. I also dont have the ability to realign all of these changes, and it would cost me a lot of time. Recently, I found that my partial hometown Butterworth also have the same situation (e.g. https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/82532938#map=17/5.42427/100.39575), especially around Kampung Baru area and Mak Mandin. Please lah take your responsible to check before this, I suggest Kaart team to be more careful before doing major raod realign work. This is very crucial issue to OSM community as quality is better than quantity.

Hi angys,

Thank you for the reaching out to our editors regarding the issues you have encountered. We have adjusted the road alignment using Esri imagery with the offset you provided.

We seek to continue providing street level imagery and appreciate that you have enjoyed the imagery we collected in Malaysia.

Best regards,
Jason
