I was in Berlin in 2014 and I am looking for a specific building that I have seen there.
I don’t remember where it was, but rather close to the center of the city.
I am putting below a link to picture of view from above to this building.
Does anyone associate such a building? Where it can be?
I remember that it could be some place like kindergarten or some social building (there were handwritten pictures on the walls).
I can’t recall such a building for any of our schools, kindergarten or social places in the centre of Berlin. It’s not a usual building formation for any of these. But our definition of centre could vary also.
Building levels could help but knowing what it actually was would be key in finding it. Otherwise it would probably just be about browsing the map.
Social places I’ve meant that it could be some place for children or less earning matures. Like some social services or psychotherapy related.
I don’t know what that building was, as I could then find it easily. Persons living in Berlin could be able to tell that.
Eventually, each link to any social building would be helpful here.
Building can be a little different from the one I’ve pictured here.
But there was fence and gateway at the middle.
typically the center of Berlin is considered everything inside the first railway circle, if it is about a point it is usually one of these: Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz tower or maybe Potsdamer Platz, also Friedrichstr./Unter den Linden is a candidate. For Berliners it’s often also Breitscheidplatz/Kudamm (West-Berlin), and generally the city is considered to be polycentric (additionally Hermannplatz and Gesundbrunnen are considered centers).
