Newer version of LINZ aerial layer?

Hi!
Is anyone aware if it's possible to get the latest LINZ aerial imagery as background for OSM editing?
for example, if we look here: https://www.openstreetmap.org/edit#map= … /172.71439
with LINZ maps for the background, it shows an older aerial imagery version than it shows in this map - https://mapviewer.canterburymaps.govt.n … 042%2C2193
Clearly the second link uses newer images, but they still come from LINZ.
I tried making an individual api key through their data service and put that in a custom background layer but I got the same I get from OSM default layer.
