I created a GPX file, looked at it successfully, even uploaded it to OSM and it looks good. I tried to use it in editing OSM (using Ed) editor. I selected the local file using a tool on the right side of the window which shows a form from which I navigated to the local file on my PC. The only thing that shows up when I try to edit the map is the name of the file and a circle showing the start of the trace (correctly placed). I do not see any tracks or traces. I was expecting to see something like a bunch of dots or dashes showing the track. What am I doing wrong?
I was able to get a local gpx file to display. This one generated by a different program. I will try to determine what the difference is that makes this work.
