Graphhopper on OSM's site

Is there any reason why when trying to search for route between like Beijing and Moscow using graphhopper (car)'s option it couldn't yield any routes but performing the same search on graphhopper's site could normally generate relevant navigation directions?

Re: Graphhopper on OSM's site

It's likely the API key that OSM uses, which is restricted. Makes sense. So people don't abuse a free GH key.

I didn't know though they could restrict route length by key, but looks like they can:)

Re: Graphhopper on OSM's site

Probably a snap-to-point issue.

In fact it couldn't route from Harbin to Vladivostok either which is rather short but it is possible to route from Harbin to Singapore which is much further away, so it seems like the issue isn't exactly caused by route length
