UK Satellite view

Can anyone recommend a good quality satellite view (Imagery) for the UK or is Bing the best. Thanks Paul

Re: UK Satellite view

If you mean "for editing in OSM editors" then the usual suspects in the list provided in the editors (ultimately from https://github.com/osmlab/editor-layer-index ) are likely to be the best.  "Best" could mean "most detailed", "most up to date" or "least offset from reality", and often different sources are better at different things in different places.

If you mean "that I can buy for use elsewhere" I've no idea, but I'm sure that there are plenty of options at various prices.

Re: UK Satellite view

OK Thanks for your reply. I am mainly looking for best quality when zoomed in, for editing with JOSM. But you've answered my question Thanks Paul
