School District Boundaries in U.S.A.

I was trying to find all of the school district boundaries in Ohio, but the data is not available. I do not mean an individual school but rather the large geographical area that comprises the single school district.

As far as I can tell, the U.S. Census Bureau provides uncopyrighted shape files for school districts(http://www.census.gov/geo/www/tiger/) just like they do for cities, towns, etc....

Have school districts been considered for OSM, or is there another reason that they are not included?

Re: School District Boundaries in U.S.A.

School districts, individual parcels, and voting districts are not included in OSM because they don't meet the guideline of being verifiable on the ground.

Municipal and political administrative boundaries already in OSM are the exception, partly because of historical reasons.   There's casual talk of moving them out of OSM and into some other system or layer, but I don't know if that will ever happen.
