tag for non-educational research facilities

Hi,

I'm new to osm, played around a little bit with the editor, and tried to put in some additional information I know about my town (Freiburg/Germany), especially the location of some research institutes I have to do with. I found out that there are tags for places belonging to a university, but what about non-educational research facilities? In Germany, there are e.g. institutes of the publicly funded Max Planck and Fraunhofer societies, but also privately funded research institutions. I think these places are of public interest and should therefore be in the map, but it would be wrong to use the university-related tags. Is there a standard way to tag them? If not, how about introducing a new tag? What do you think?

Best,
murfit

Dunno.... "research=private institute" seems pretty bad. Perhaps "Building=Research institute; name=Joder Institut"...
