iD editor does not require providing information on "data source" of t

I have just started using the iD editor, and at the end of my edit, before uploading the changes I am suppose to provide changeset comments.
However, I remember that when using JOSM, aside from changeset comments there was also the line stating:

"specify the data source"

Is there are reason why the iD editor does not have this feature? Providing information about the source of data?

Re: iD editor does not require providing information on "data source" of t

iD provides details of the imagery used in the changeset details automatically.  I suspect it's part of the ethos of iD being an "entry level" editor; trying to be as uncomplicated for new users as possible.

The "imagery" is the satellite imagery?
