Using tilesAtHome with batik
Hello everyone,
I'm pretty new to OSM and tilesAtHome. I saw the config option to use batik instead of inkscape. What makes the difference between these two options? Any performance increases or better memory handling or something like that?
Cheers
Henrik

Re: Using tilesAtHome with batik
I think the usage of the Batik renderer for OSM is still experimental but it shows promise of faster rendering. Memory usage I'm not sure of. If you're really interested in this then I recommend doing some reading on the T@H mailinglist.
