Garmin Edge 800: Showing road names

Hi,

I use mkgmap to build Garmin maps based upon OSM data and am trying to work out what I need to do such that upcoming road names appear at the top of the device map screen.  I used to have this feature active but something happened (not sure if I modified the device settings or tinkered with the mkgmap options when building a new map) and now I don't get the road names.

The generated map does contain road names and displays them against the road in question but I'm after the capability for upcoming road names to be displayed at the top of the screen.  Currently I just get "Heading South" etc.

Any ideas ?  Not sure if this is a device setting (Garmin Edge 800) or a mkgmap option.

You can try a map from another map provider (my maps for instance) but I don't think it will be different.
I think it is some setting in your device but I don't know anything about the Edge 800.
