how to get maps on vista c?

Hi, i have a etrex Vista C and cant get any maps uploadet to the device.

I already have made osm minnimaps with mkgmap but i cant find a way to get them on the device. I tried to download sendmap20 for Linux, but there is no download to find anywhere. It seems like the only method.

I tried qlandkarte with no success. He refuses to build online maps, perhaps osm export api is down? Und offline maps have to big tiles to load it on the 24MB internal memory.

Had anyone success in putting maps to a etrex Vista C? Especially under Linux?

Why don't you try to use wine and Mapsource?
