iD-Editor: Troubles when entering housenumbers

Since Thu last week I've got an unexpected problem with the browser embedded editor iD.
If I type house numbers in the address field of a building, then the browser loses focus of this box and jumps out of it after typing a single number! The following characters/numbers are then interpreted as an abbreviation for point (1), line (2) or aera (3).
This is of course very annoying, especially when the house number have 2 or 3-digits.
Only the adress field, where the housenumber (addr:housenumber) is affected.

If you the problem known?

I'm using a Macintosh computer with latest Google Chrome as a webbrowser.
