remove streets that are dead ends or cul-de sacs from results. also de

As the question says. I am using overpass turbo. Is there anyway to filter out roads that are dead ends. Also is there a way to detect if a road has roads coming off it? Is a crossroad or a corner?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Have a look at the "to-fix" service from mapbox and I asume also OSM-Inspector from geofabrik.de and maybe even keepright.at ... they have layers that show dead end roads that are oneways ... which is resulting in a logical error.

unfortunately only in German, but in http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/DE:O … elsammlung there are some hints to find ways according to your aims.

or go to http://help.openstreetmap.org and search for keywords or tags like overpas-api, overpass-turbo, oneway ...
