When editing in iD can I disable large area overlays?
Hi,
I am new to OSM and editing, and I find when editing using the in browser iD tool, sometimes it is hard to see the details on the satellite image even with "brightness" turned full up. Is it possible to disable the display of large areas of overlays (eg "residential area" or other named large areas) as this would make it a lot easier to see what's underneath on the satellite pictures.
thanks

As far as I know it is not possible with iD. Potlatch has a wireframe style that draws polygons without fill. If you do not have anything principle against Potlatch have a try with it.
