Where to download OSM POIs?
Hello! I just could not find POI dataset on OSM planet website. Could you please help? Many thanks.

You may have to extract them yourself. I don't think anyone is currently providing a POI-only extract.

Do you mean I have to check the appropriate key/value pairs of all the nodes in my interested area to get the different kinds of POI? Here I find a place for downloading http://downloads.cloudmade.com/europe/s … readcrumbs . Did they do that in the same way?

Could it not be done via the XAPI, something like this:
http://www.informationfreeway.org/api/0.6/node[amenity=hospital]plus a little post-processing.
(example from the XAPI webpage)
