Tagging questions. Park and elevator

Hello all

I have questions about some tags:

Elevator
- I have inserted a public elevator using the Proposed (under way) highway=elevator (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Elevator). Unfortunately in the map it appears an empty space (neither a drawing nor the "name" tag).
Is it possible to add some tag that, without affecting the meaning of the main one (highway=elevator), may let to see something in the map ?

Park, but not green
- "leisure = park" tag supposes a "Open, green area for recreation". But what if there is almost no "green" in the park, but benches and open space to walk or play (although without a dedicated playground). I have seen "leisure = common", but it seems a little fuzzy and not adequate after reading the comment in http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:leisure%3Dcommon

Thank you for your help

So what is in the area, if its not green? If its mostly a paved area (ie a plaza or square), then tag it as highway=pedestrian, area=yes (plus surface=paved or similar).

I would agree with you about leisure=common, the wiki page is rather vague. I think a common is more about the rights to use it for grazing etc, and most commons are now just parks.
