Technical editing question
When two highways cross one another and you need to edit them to make a junction, I currently cut one of them at two nodes, delete to intervening section and reconnect both loose ends.
Is there an easier way? A tool in potlatch or JOSM that would do it automatically?

Re: Technical editing question
If you need to make a simple junction at the crossing of two ways, you can a shift-click at the point of intersection in Potlatch. Potlatch creates a new node that belongs to both ways.
