Anyone know if work has been done to map the administrative boundaries for UK Local Authorities on Open Street Map and to what level ie Ward, Parish, New Deal for Communities etc?
Take a look at the wiki under the consitituent countries of the UK. Unitary Authorities, County Councils and London Boroughs are reasonably OK. Districts, Civil Parishes vary in level of completion across the UK. AFAIK only Ipswich has Ward boundaries mapped. Much of this data relies on out-of-date boundaries from the 1940s and 1950s (the New Popular Edition maps). Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are not as complete as England.
