Garmin eTrex Legend Cx China map not working
Hi,
I am new to here. I download the China map for Garmin. It is about 126M. However, the unit doesn't recognize the map and display nothing. I installed the installer on Windows 7. The OSG Generic routable is shown on the top left corner of my MapSource 6.16.1, but there is not map displayed.
Is there anything that I have done wrong?

Have you read the FAQ in garmin.openstreetmap.nl ?
CTRL+G in Mapsource might do the trick.

Thanks for your quick response. Yes, I have read the FAQ. The CTRL+G doesn't help. By the way, I select the mapnik TYP option when I build the map. I don't know if this is a factor.

You might want to try JaVaWa's GMTK tool to check for errors.
