Does OSM support POI collection? POI collection is set of POIs which are aggregated by some criterion. For instance some company can publish coordinates of its offices (banks, ATMs, fuel stations) in the GPX file.
- We cannot rely on this data but it is good to have in the OSM (in one place).
- We can upload this file to OSM as is but there must be a key to match way points in the GPX file and entities in the OSM. So before update, user will delete all old POIs and create new.
- It is must be impossible to edit them by hands.
- It is must be possible to maintain collections for all user. Not just one, that uploaded it first time.
Maybe we have another way to maintain external POIs?
