YES!!! I DO IT!!! I have istalled it!!!
For example I have a file osm designed by my.
How can I render the file created by me?

THANKS!!!

One might have guessed. It was obvious you’re neither a linguist nor any kind of IT person.

No, you haven’t. You unpacked a zip file and ran an executable file from the newly-created folder. Congratulations on that, however.

You have been referred to the manual two times by now, which you claimed to “have read this documents”. All the information you need is there.

SOORY!!! But I need in spanish! It’s possible that? THANK!!! And I’m so sorry!!!

This is a snapshot not a render. Because I dont know to redered it!!!

thank you very much
only appears the names of “boulevard” but not the names of the streets
How can I do?

Big big communication problems :frowning: try that: http://gis.19327.n5.nabble.com/Spain-f5409873.html
it is the spanish speaking osm talk list.

but i can’t tell you how to login there.

you have to register twice (2 times). one at the mailing list talk-es and one at nabble to use the gui.

-w-

i know what they will say: read the manual, install maperitive and read the manual again- no other way.

maperitive http://maperitive.net/ has an englsh speaking forum. sorry no spain. http://groups.google.com/group/maperitive

THANK!!! I’ll try it!!!

Settings → Mappaint-Style →
ON: Mapnik (true)
OFF: JOSM internal style
OFF: Potlatch 2

and you’re done.
Kind of

Please I want to know how can I convert OSM files to JPG, PNG, PDF or SVG files.
I want to convert the Zarapest.osm to an image files.

Please HELP ME!!!

Gruss
walter

http://goo.gl/maps/Ekbk5 ebenfalls unbewohnt

Hi, ich kümmere mich um ihn. (wenn schon Lummerland weg musste :frowning: - dann sowas erst recht! )
Werde berichten.

Hi all:

I’m Rafael XXX (OSM contributor http://www.openstreetmap.org/user/edvac ), and I’ve been notified by OSM contributor XXXX (http://www.openstreetmap.org/user/derFred ) of a malicious vandalism in the island of Navassa, around midway between Jamaica (W) and Haiti (E) ( http://osm.org/go/YcyMxBKo- ).

User daniel v s ( http://www.openstreetmap.org/user/daniel%20v%20s ) created a fictional city in the uninhabited island of Navassa in 18
changesets from 15/Feb/13 17:16 until 16/Feb/13 19:42. The changesets were the following:

15055719 16/Feb/13 19:42
15055679
15055674
15052147
15052075
15051989
15051965
15050932
15043168
15043110
15042971
15042872
15042816
15042612
15042572
15042550
15042501
15042475 15/Feb/13 17:16

He clearly declares his intentions in an OSM forum:

http://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?pid=313428#p313428

I reverted the 18 changesets following the vandalism protocol for
cases like this ( http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Vandalism ):

Speedy revert:

If a significant number of edits to ways can be definitively proved to
be malicious, obscene, libelous or it is considered that they might
bring the project into disrepute then it is important to respond
immediately and revert first and ask questions to the contributor in
parallel. It may also be appropriate to contact the Data Working Group
at the same time.

The reversion changeset is the following:
http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/changeset/15057580

Please, notice that two of the changesets had some nodes or ways
outside of the island (in mainland Haiti), that weren’t reversed, and
might need to be checked further.

I’ve sent a message to the user daniel v s telling what happened. I’ve
sent it in spanish, as this user seems to be from Argentina (I’m from
Spain), although he seems to be able to read english at a basic level
at least. In any case, I put here a free translation of my message
into english:

**—
Hello:
**

Through email I have been notified that you have created a fictional
town on the uninhabited island of Navassa, between Jamaica and Haiti.

You did these editions in 18 changesets between February 15 17:16 and
February 16, 19:42 of 2013.

The geospatial database which conforms the OpenStreetMap (OSM
hereafter) is taken very seriously by the OSM community in general,
and the OSM Foundation in particular.

To create an item or group of items (such as a city) in a place on the
planet where there isn’t/aren’t those elements is considered a
malicious action, and needs to be reverted immediately, as I have done
following the protocol set out in the vandalism wiki (
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Vandalism)). The rollback changeset
is http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/changeset/15057580

Under no pretext may be allowed ANY user to use ANY part of the map
(be it a desert island or anywhere else) to do experiments on it
whatsoever. If you do these tests, I suggest you to use JOSM and
create what you see fit with the data from the OSM database, but do
not upload the under any circumstances, not even for a few minutes, to
the OSM database, but instead use them freely in your computer for any
purpose you want: to extract statistical data, rendering, etc. For
this tasks, I am sure you will have the help of other users of the OSM
community. But I repeat: NEVER, under any circumstances, can be
uploaded to the OSM database any data other than for the purpose of
improving the map, and of course, in no case can be uploaded
fictitious data knowing that they are not real.

As is mandatory in these cases, I’ve sent an email to the Data Working
Group (DWG) OSM Foundation to take the measures they deem appropriate
to this particular case. The e-mail address of the DWG is
data@osmfoundation.org, and the mail has the subject “malicious
Reverted edits in Navassa Island (http://osm.org/go/YcyMxBKo-)”. Also
I attached the contents of this message.

Regards.

Regards,

Rafael XXX (edvac).
