OSM Namefinder

Hello,

This is my first post on this forum - so please excuse me if I am wrong…

…but could somebody explain why the namefinder (http://gazetteer.openstreetmap.org/namefinder/) is running with a quite old snapshot of OSM data (Index from OpenStreetMap data up to 9 Jan 2009) ?

Hello all,

Should I put this question on other forum/thread? Is anybody interested in this issue?
For me (a normal OSM user) is very strange to have a very old database for the namefinder.

It seems that no one is able to answer your question here; I don’t think posting in a different forum will help.

Maybe you should try the mailing lists, you’ll sometimes get better responses there when it comes to tech/dev questions.
