Mapy Navteq znikaja z Internetu
Navteq, jedna z najwiekszych komercyjnych fimr produkujacych mapy dla systemów nawigacji, wycofuje swoja usluge:

Wystarczy zerknac na www.map24.de , zostaniecie przekierowania na polska informacje na ten temat.
Tak wiec na placu boju zostaje microsoft, google, Teleatlas i OSM. Wg ocen inni sie w tym obszarze juz nie licza.

Chyba za dużo powiedziane. Po prostu uznali, że nie ma sensu utrzymywać dwóch serwisów Nokia Maps i Map24.
Navteq ma bardzo dobre mapy, z dużą siecią dróg. OSM powinno głównie walczyć dodatkową informacją na temat dróg: surface, trackgrade, trail_visibility, czy szlaki turystyczne.
