Bing aerial imagery priorities by Steve Coast

Steve Coast is requesting for cities / countries where a better bing coverage is needed to map in Openstreetmap.

Here is the request from him :

Hi,

I’m speaking personally and there are no guarantees here but I’d like to get input on what areas you would like Bing to prioritise for aerial
and/or satellite imagery in the coming year. Please mail scoast at microsoft.com with the area in question (I’d love to accept bounding
boxes but don’t really have the time so cities/countries are the best).

I will pass this on to the right people and we may or may not be able to
help.

Second post:

I had tons of emails in response to my request for ideas of where we
could prioritise imagery. This is not to be taken that we will
prioritise based on your input but that’s my hope.

I’ve put the salient bits of every email in here:

If you can help me figure this in to a coherent page with some idea of
how to prioritise all the requests that would help me take this to the

I have requested- just now - a better coverage for Jerusalem and Haifa.

If you have another not covered place or know a area where a higher zoom level is really needed, you are welcome to write Steve by Email scoast [at] microsoft.com.

Modiin has very poor coverage.

I have added the following content to the request form. If there is any other demand please request and I will add it:

Israel (3x)

There’s still a need in hi-res imagery for Israel. One addition zoom level would be amazing for the biggest cities.
