Lane Assist

Can the open street map added the lane assist feature that new GPS devices are making use off.

Example of such device:

nüvi 765T takes navigation to the next level with lane assist. No more guessing which lane you need to be in to make an upcoming turn. Lane assist guides you to the correct lane for an approaching turn or exit, making unfamiliar intersections and exits easy to navigate. It realistically displays road signs and junctions on your route along with arrows that indicate the proper lane for navigation.

Re: Lane Assist

Sure it can, eventually. But I'm guessing the data isn't there, nor the support in the software that converts to garmin maps.

You are free to help out in adding this support by try to describe how this should be added in the data (the streets) or how to make the programs support this feature. Interested?
