Routes on 60csx are straight lines

I've successfully installed a map in Mapsource and downloaded it to my Garmin 60CSX.  Routes created in mapsource follow the roads but when downloaded to the GPS they display as straight lines.  Routes created on the GPS are also straight lines.  Any suggestions?

Thanks,  Mike

This usually happens when your map doesn't have routing information, or you've set your GPS to ignore roads.

Either your map does not contain routing information as already mentioned by csdf, or maybe you have switched on off-road routing on your GPS?  My Oregon 450 also just shows a straight line to the goal in that mode even if the map contains routing information.
If your Mapsource uses the same map then I assume its just the off-road routing as the program obviously has the necessary routing information.
