Setting up a XAPI server
Hello,
I am working at a small application which creates POIs for my TomTom or my Garmin. I am using the XAPI to query Openstreetmap for special nodetypes in a defined area.
My major problem is the availability of the XAPI server informationfreeway.org. Many times I got a timeout error message. Now I am planning to setup my own XAPI server and I am looking for documentation how to setup a custom XAPI server. Maybe someone can post some links related to setting up an XAPI server.

You should probably ask in the mailing lists because most "experts" are reading there
