One traffic sign - different speed limit on each side

How do I add a traffic sign that shows 60 km/h in one direction and 70 km/h in the other direction?

Thanks

Re: One traffic sign - different speed limit on each side

There are tag modifiers which can be used (forward/backward & left/right and direction). These will work best if the traffic sign is mapped as a node on a way (otherwise the direction cannot be inferred), but this is also inaccurate, as I expect the sign is either above or at the side of the road. It may not matter, because these values can be interpreted by another mapper with reference to the way(s) of the highway.

See https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key … Adirection which explains some of the options in use.

By far & away the most important thing is to map the maxspeeds on the relevant highway ways. Providing information on the signage is useful, particularly for validation, but not essential.
