Hi hi, I’m new in OSM, I worked a little but with db more than the web platform, I was checking the tags of OSM, and I can’t found something for this.
I use Nominatim, and I would like to improve the search, here, the government made public a db that have a lot of streets and the house number range from one intersection to other, for example one street is marked to contain the houses from 2008 to 2146, we don’t know where is every house, and not every number belongs to a house, but I think that can improve the results of nominatim.
No you can’t add it to OSM directly, unless the copyright is compatible. Even then, you need to follow the guidelines on the process, and be familiar with importing.
You should first try to use the dataset on your side separate from OSM, or check if OpenAddresses and other open data collections have it.
