In 2019, the Valdez-Cordova Census Area in Alaska was split into the Chugach and Copper River Census Areas. This change has not yet been reflected in OpenStreetMap. Does anyone know where it would possible to find the boundary between the two new census areas? The website of the US Census Bureau doesn’t seem to have been updated yet, as the last year represented on its maps is 2019.
I have not checked Terms of Use or License so these should be checked before changing the object in question (https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/2605315) or importing the shapes into OpenStreetMap.
Thanks. Exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, I’ve checked the terms of use and copyright policy and it seems that duplication of any electronic material from the site requires approval from the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development. If permission of use is granted, would I have to somehow prove I have permission to put the information on OpenStreetMap?
