I’ve been hunting high and low for some way to contact the developers of the Garmin compatible open street map project and other map contributors to say a big thank you to you all.
I have an old Garmin eTrex 30 that has stood the test of time. However, my original purchased mapset (or whatever you call them) that I’d paid near 200 Aussie dollars for became corrupted and would not load. TBH, I hadn’t used it in 6 years so I guess that’s understandable. Anyway, I can’t afford to pay that much for a new set of maps and I knew of Open Street Map (and have contributed in the past), but had no clue that I could get Garmin compatible image files for my old eTrex until a few weeks back when I started searching to buy maps.
I’m rambling, sorry.
