A newbie with basic request
Hi I am trying to edit a map, everything seems in order but the change I made isn't being saved. Can you point me in the right direction please on how to make and save changes. Your help is very much appreciated, Many Thanks.

Re: A newbie with basic request
There are 4 map layers at OpenStreetMap.org and they take different amounts of time to update. The "standard" layer is normally fairly quick at higher zoom levels but at lower zoom levels might take a month or so. The Cycle and Transport layers take a week or so. I've no idea about the speed of the other two layers.
There have been reports elsewhere about update slowness in the "standard" tiles - they do occasionally get busy; just wait a bit and it'll sort itself out. Other tile servers may be faster - https://map.atownsend.org.uk/maps/map/m … n=-2.80771 (which I look after) should update with 5 minutes of someone clicking save and take only a few seconds to update (at a relatively high zoom level). Other tile servers with relatively low loads may be similar.
