I want to disable automatic incident detection on my Garmin Driveassist 51 LMT-S. I go to settings, then Dash Cam, then uncheck the box next to ‘Automatic Incident Detection’. It indicates it is disabled. But it continues to report incidents. I can just shake the GPS and get it to display an incident. Does anyone know how to get this disabled?
This is quite irritating. I tried to reduce the sensitivity of an indecent detect with no success and I can not cancel this feature.
Driving in Africa on a dirt road indicate so many incidents that you cannot see the important info on your right hand screen. Your hand is permanently cancelling the screen. I my mind this is a dangerous practice.

You might get more help if you ask in a Garmin forum. This one is specifically about maps based on OpenStreetMap data.
Besides that, i have contacted Garmin support team by email several times for problems with my nuvi and they always help solve them.
