Geocoding question with MMQGIS

I am starting to geocode using MMQGIS because Esri licenses are expensive, and when I do so with Nominatim I get two additional attribute fields that correspond to the OSM class and OSM type attributes. I have looked for what these attributes are but have been unsuccessful. Can anyone point me to what these attributes are and how they are coded?

Thanks!

Re: Geocoding question with MMQGIS

According to the documentation I read, the OSM type probably specifies what object type it is (e.g. node, way, or relation). I can't see anything about an OSM class, though. Can you give an example of what you're seeing?

Re: Geocoding question with MMQGIS

Example: a record with an addrtype of "place" and an addrlocat of "house"
