Conversion of Greek characters to Latin

First of all, i have to say that you make great job, so that we can keep our garmin navigators still alive.
But I would like to ask for something:
When you convert from GREEK alphabet characters to LATIN alphabet, consider that the Greek letter “Υυ” (ypsilon) is better to be turned to “Uu” in Latin and not to “Vv”.
Thank you!

I assume you are referring to Lambertus’ maps? AFAIK the conversion is whatever the underlying program mkgmap uses. You need to take that up with the programmers of that.

Thai is even worse, it turns into gibberish.

Cheers,
Peter.
