It seems someone is deleting names on OSM. Couldn’t searcch for Nashik (it’s a big city)… maybe some others as well. Can it be undone?

When searching on OSM.org I get “Error contacting nominatim.openstreetmap.org: 429”, so it might be a problem with nominatim.
[edit:] Taking a closer look at http://osm.mapki.com/history/node.php?id=245686763 somebody deleted place=city from the node. This change has been reverted a few minutes ago.
